Course Overview

This course provides the skills and knowledge required to work in various hospitality venues.

You will cover obligations under the WHS legislation & food act, incorporate safe work practices, follow emergency procedures and organisations policies and procedures, hygiene standards, allergen management, and food safety requirements.

  • SITXFSA001-Use hygienic practices for food safety
  • SITXFSA002 -Participate in safe food handling practices
  • SITXWHS001 – Participate in safe work practices

Eligibility

To be eligible for a fully subsidised place you must meet the Smart and Skilled eligiblity – see link https://smartandskilled.nsw.gov.au


AND MEET ALL OF THE FOLLOWING TARGET AREAS:

  • Age 15 years or older
  • Live or work in New South Wales
  • Have left school
  • Australian citizen, permanent resident, humanitarian visa holder
    or New Zealand Citizen.
