‘I remember that I felt something different comparing with other schools when I went to Evolution the first time. Something different…was like a freedom, something special in Australia, which I like. I saw students enjoy studying and cooking as they develop their ability freely with rich environment. Teachers were giving lectures with passion. I had a chance to talk to GM, so that I decided to go to the Evolution. He has plenty of heart. I thought I can have confidence in him at first sight.
I asked him a question about characteristics of the school while he was giving me information and explanation of the facilities about the school and he answered the question telling me that all of the trainers are brilliant chef as well as he is. Although campus and facilities are important for developing students’ ability, I decided to go to the school because I believe that trainers and other staffs, who make the best environment for students, are most important. I’ve never regretted my decision to go to the school. I’ve seen many trainers in the school.
I still remember that one of them once said to us. “I don’t think all of you want to be a chef. Some of you come here because you want to get Permanent Residence in Australia. However, please keep in mind that the study of cooking is important to your life because it is a study of how to live a life at the same time.” Then, I found the importance suddenly because I was one of them who go to school to get PR.
